Redpolls
The annual redpoll arrival began today with three Lessers, the Tree Spugs seem to have gone. There was a smart Greenshank on The Shunan.
More Eristalis pertinax were by The Shunan where there were also Leucozona lucorum. Yesterday there were one or more Cheilosia illustrata as well, or not they were Eristalis intricaria

Great expression on that greenfinch, looks as if it is really unhappy with something the sparrow has done!
