Patch tick, patch gold

It was a good idea to take the dog for a walk then...

Also a pile of Meadow Pipits seem to have dropped in with scattered birds all over and the occasional larger flock.



Couple of nice evening skies from this evening

And from yesterday, wagtails at Palace, some nice alba.alba This one was a bit darker but my feeling it is of that race.

Yes the idea that the SX60 can't produce sharp pictures is erroneous. To my eye it produces sharper pictures. The added bit of zoom is helpful if the camera can be held still. However, the redesign of the control dials and buttons is a bit of a mess as they are too fiddly and not well placed, I can't see this as a deal breaker but it is taking a bit of getting used to.
