West Mainland

Snow Bunting, male

A buzz around West Mainland today produced two Snow Buntings on Birsay Links and... not much else. There were plenty of large gulls at Lock of Skaill but I couldn't find anything of real interest, indeed resorted to looking carefully at Common Gulls to try and find an eastern race bird, one suspect but unsuccessful.
