Hen Harrier petition

Please have a look at this petition and sign it if you agree (how can you not?).

This one, just beyond our garden, Orkney is the UK Hen Harrier stronghold, but even here just 100 breeding females (not pairs as the males have several mates) or fewer.

This is the second link I've seen for the grouse moor petition in as many days. Suffice to say, following your gentle persuasion, and owing to many wonderful harrier encounters I've had on Orkney, I am now a signatory.

Thanks, Alastair, and I shall rebro the request.

Thanks for signing, we need to keep the pressure on for birds of prey and this seems another good enough avenue.
